5th Grade Class Interviews Georgia State Sen. Gail Davenport
Recently, as part of Black History Month, students from Fountain Elementary School in Clayton County were able to interview Georgia State Sen. Gail Davenport of District 44, who attended Fountain Elementary and High School when the schools were segregated. She was interviewed by some junior reporters of the school on what Fountain Elementary and High School were like 50 years ago during this era, and how the school system has changed.
